A behind the scenes special!

True Food Missoula is a convenient way to stay engaged in the local food systems, your own good health, and the well being of your home community.

Because we believe that thoughtfully prepared meals, made from ingredients raised with integrity, absent of poisons and hormones, and free to roam when on the hoof, are what we all crave: meals that strengthen our foundation for vital living.

As a team, we work to serve our customers and community with excellence, and playfulness! So today we’re sharing the first of a series of interviews with one of our farmers and friends, Michael Davidson!

“Hi, my name is Michael Davidson, my wife, Molly and I own and operate Crescent Ridge Farms. We are a produce and cut-commercial flower farm located near Alberton Montana. In 2015, we moved my farm from the mission valley to the beautiful Clark fork valley, which gave us an opportunity to work with True Foods, which has been beautiful.

Molly and I have known Paige and numerous of their employees for many years from the boating world. That’s how this whole thing got started. Year by year we’ve collaborated a little bit more and since our values are in line with one another; eat local shop local, be local, this has been a beautiful thing! As a farm, we go above and beyond being organic, which I think Paige truly believes in and the True Food crew also does.

Working with them in both the flower industry and the food industry has been beneficial to us, and to our local communities because people are seeing the benefit of shopping locally using local products. And with that, I would like to say: think local, shop local! Thank you True Foods!”
