Kimmerer is a writer, scientist, and enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation as well as the author of Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teaching of Plants. For those of you that prefer an audio version, there is the ability to listen to the essay read by the author.

We hope you enjoy!
