Strong immune systems have always been important, but now more than ever. With all the toxins in the environment and the potential of getting sick, there’s a lot of ways to protect ourselves from unnecessary illness. This post features one great way to do this that’s also a lot of fun!

Have you heard of Fire Cider? It’s been a popular tonic for years and we have a variation of it to share with you. Our friends here at Heart Beet Herbal have a Peach Fire Cider recipe to share with you. But first, a little bit about what it is and why it’s so good.

Traditionally, Fire cider is a blend of warming, stimulating, and supportive herbs in raw apple cider vinegar and raw honey. This locally made Peach Fire Cider supports healthy digestion and overall wellness. Peaches give it a subtle sweetness, and offset the spiciness with a little cooling action. Delicious in dressings, sauces, or straight by the spoonful!

Fire cider is a spicy tonic promoted to:

  • Support immune health

  • Prevent and treat cold symptoms

  • Improve many other health issues

We love it because:

  • It’s made from raw, organic real food.

  • Is preservative and chemical-free.

  • Is gluten-free.

  • Naturally contains probiotics.

  • Has a long shelf-life, due to the presence of probiotics.

  • Doesn’t have to be refrigerated.

  • Is easy to take.

  • Is versatile.

  • Actually tastes amazing!

So there’s a lot of information available online about what we believe is a super tonic. We’ve only linked to a couple of sources. But for now, here’s that recipe from Heart Beet Herbal for you to try.
